Meet Oscar, our apprentice, whose journey with us is a perfect example of the supportive environment we foster. Oscar first joined us for work experience during his final year at secondary school, and it was clear from the start that he had a real passion for learning. Impressed by his enthusiasm and dedication, we welcomed him back as an apprentice, and he’s now studying a three-year course to become a qualified Fire & Security Engineer with Skills for Security.

Since starting his apprenticeship, Oscar has slotted brilliantly into the team, showing a keenness to learn every day. He’s made fantastic progress, earning great feedback from both clients and colleagues. Earlier this month, his college tutor praised his efforts, and he even had the chance to join us at the Ajax Special Event in Manchester, gaining valuable hands-on experience and networking with industry professionals. As one of our clients put it:

“It was lovely to see an experienced worker teaching with respect whilst also having a good camaraderie relationship with an apprentice. I am a little old-fashioned I guess, but it was lovely to see those ethics still exist.”
